Methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose provides many of the same benefits as other methyl cellulose derivatives, such as the ability to efficiently thicken and provide water retention, These products, offered by Celotech Chemicals under the CELOPRO® MH brand, are highly effective additives used to improve the quality and processing characteristics of building materials such as plasters and renders, mortars, tile adhesives, skim coat, wall putties, joint compounds and even emulsion paints.

Functions of MHEC

1. Water retention:The hydroxyl groups on the cellulose ether molecules and the oxygen atoms on the ether bonds will form hydrogen bonds with water molecules, turning free water into bound water, thus playing a good role in water retention.

2. Good thickening improve work-ability.

3.Excellent Adhesion improve the effect of anti-sliding.

4. Stabilizing agent:During the construction process of cement mortar, the performance remains stable without stratification or segregation.

Packed in 25 kg multilayer paper sack with polyethylene intermediate layer and inner P.E. bag.It is recommended that it be kept sealed and away from moisture. Do not expose it to direct sunlight or near fire sources.
