Gypsum Retarder

Gypsum Retarder

Gypsum retarder is mainly used to adjust the setting time of gypsum (especially gypsum-based materials) during the construction process. Its main components are usually some organic or inorganic retarders, which can slow down the hydration reaction of gypsum and prolong its setting time. This regulation is very important in building and decoration construction, especially for occasions that require longer working time, such as large-scale construction, complex mold pouring, etc.

Gypstar® is recommend for gypsum plaster, gypsum bonding compound, gypsum putty, gypsum precast, gypsum filler, gypsum modeling and gypsum based decorative coating.
